Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Management accounts to be produced within 4 working days of the month end.
  • Balance Sheet review of all entities within EFC remit including queries resolutions.
  • Annual audit for McLarens companies including audit file with support.
  • Oversee intercompany reconciliations and offset proposal and communications in relation to all intercompany correspondence.
  • Company statutory reporting, including VAT/ONS/PSA etc, within deadlines
  • Cash forecast and cash projection
  • Oversee AP/Expense, including payment, coding, vendor reviews and queries resolutions.
  • MI reporting ie. billing report, client financial, bonus reports,
  • Any other ad hoc duties

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Management accounts produced in 4 working days of month-end
  • Balance reconciliation completed day 15 with queries resolved
  • Audit file within audit commencement date
  • MI production in line with Company requirements and deadlines
  • Data accuracy
  • Leadership

Qualifications, experience & type of individual required:

Essential:

  • Successful candidates will be fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) with demonstrable operational management accounts, audit, team management, statutory reporting, accounts payable, expense and business acumen.
  • Industry experience ideal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience of using accounting software
  • Must be able to ‘hit the ground running’ and therefore will have worked in a similar role
  • ‘Hands on’ experience and knowledge of the audit process
  • Able to produce information of high quality to strict deadlines and will have a flexible attitude in order to ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Must have the confidence to deal with finance and non-financial people at all levels and have great communication skills
  • Must have experience of dealing with confidential data and be trustworthy

Working Conditions

• 9:00 – 17:00 (1 hour lunch break)
• Hybrid working based in Heathrow office twice a week.
• Flexibility is a must as working in a busy finance team with ERP go-live.
