We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Coordinator to join McLarens newly established Waste & Recycling team, the role will be a hybrid role with a requirement to attend the London office weekly.

 

The opportunity:

Reporting to the Executive Manager, you will provide effective support to them as they lead this product, and the UK&I team of dedicated and designated Adjusters and Specialists who have been assigned to this team.

 

The role:

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Executive Manager in managing this product by establishing a London office hub through which all aspects of the product are controlled.
  • Assist with client liaison and account management such that you establish relationships and ensure our clients are comfortable with referring issues into the hub with the knowledge they will be dealt with quickly and efficiently.
  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of the product.
  • Management of the administration of new claims including receiving instruction, issuing acknowledgments, setting up files and assisting with risk screening and triaging.
  • Working closely with Adjusters to assist with investigations and the validation of major and complex claims.
  • Controlling the lifecycle of the files to drive diary management and support the proactive management of claims from receiving initial instructions through to the conclusion of each case.
  • Overseeing Adjuster caseloads when necessary, during periods of leave.
  • Liaising as required with key stakeholders including policyholders, insurers and brokers amongst others to ensure optimum customer service, becoming a point of contact where needed for interested partie

About you - Knowledge and Experience:

  • You must have practical claims handling experience including responsibility for management and control of a caseload, preferably with a commercial insurance bias.
  • The candidate will be qualified, or be working towards becoming, CII or CILA qualified.
  • Organised and able to self-manage workload, having a methodical, accurate and analytical approach to work, with a considerable pride in the quality of output.
  • Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to communicate in a clear, concise and structured manner.
