Global Marketing Manager - North America & LATAM

Purpose

 

The Global Marketing & Communications Manager will work closely with the Global Marcomm Team, Regional Heads of Business Practices in North and Latin America. The incumbent will support in the execution of integrated marketing and communication plans that drive client awareness, brand equity, and demand for specific McLaren’s core claims, and specialty businesses globally.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Learn business and establish relationships with key contacts in North America and Latin America.
  • In conjunction with the Global Marketing team, create and execute effective marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, the share of voice, and competitive positioning in the target markets.
  • Translate McLarens’ Service/Solution Positioning and Value Prop into what audience needs and seeks. 
  • Responsible for planning creative, digital, and social corporate support functions to help attract and take prospects through the sales and marketing funnel and the relevant content pieces for each stage of the journey – from thought leadership to engaging the prospect(s). 
  • Collaboratively work with Regional Leaders, identify opportunities to create integrated go-to-market themes from individual service plays.
  • Create audience and persona-based journeys with an understanding of what content and what tactic can help move the client from awareness to action.
  • Successfully plan, develop, and execute integrated marketing campaigns based on agreed to marketing strategies that deliver on the business objectives.
  • Work closely with VP of Global Marcomms, Regional & Specialty Lines Management, Shared Services, and external teams, including PR agencies, trade journals/media, industry associations, etc.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on campaign results. Provides recommendations for ongoing improvements. Continually monitor project work plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Design and leverage creative digital and video assets to promote the McLarens family of bands and thought leadership across different channels. 
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing to help manage social media platforms for the McLarens family of brands.
  • Create effective go-to-market digital & social campaigns and materials designed to support business objectives.

 

Skills

  • Demonstrable experience operating at a strategic and tactical levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management including a proven track record of building strong working relationships, externally and internally.
  • Proven track record in planning and executing end-to-end campaigns that delivered measurable results.
  • Comfortable taking ownership of all aspects of marketing campaigns; few agencies are used by the business.
  • Demonstrable understanding of how to measure success of the marketing campaigns, pulling digital and non-digital tactic levers to optimize engagement.
  • Proven experience creating and executing digital campaigns to drive thought leadership, brand awareness, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience with MarTech Stack and CRM software such as Sprout Social, Constant Contact, Canva, Monday.com and proven track record in executing campaigns and measuring results.
  • Working knowledge and hands-on expertise in creative design (e.g. Canva, HTML) and content writing skills.
  • Proven experience in working with Business Development and external partners defining client aligned initiatives.
  • Collaborative and willing to jump in where necessary to achieve goals and promote business line growth. Seeks knowledge, and shares expertise. 
  • Strong project management and success metrics skills.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a remote team, with colleagues based in the Australia, Bulgaria, New Zealand, the UK, and the US and flexible to work international hours as required of a global role.
  • Excited to work in a lean team with a broad role covering all aspects of Marcomms. 

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B marketing, business development, professional services and/or marketing communications. Experience within the insurance industry would be highly desirable but is not essential. 
  • Multicultural experience and multilingual capability (Spanish or Portuguese) desired, but not mandatory.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, in Marketing, Business Communications, or related field.
