McLarens is seeking a forward-thinking Vice President of Enterprise Architecture to lead the development of a future-oriented technology architecture that supports scalability, performance, integration, security, and AI enablement across global operations. This role will shape McLarens’ digital transformation through system consolidation, ERP modernization (SAP), and AI innovation. The VP will drive enterprise alignment across adjusting, TPA, and forensic services, enabling a scalable, modern, and secure architecture that supports business agility and growth.

 

Key Responsibilities:


Enterprise Architecture Strategy
• Define and implement a unified architecture strategy for operational efficiency and business 
agility.
• Establish future-state architecture including cloud, data, AI, and integration frameworks.
• Assess current systems and identify modernization opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and platforms to guide innovation and modernization. 

Business & IT Alignment
• Serve as a strategic advisor to business/IT leaders.
• Translate business goals into scalable architecture.
• Define business capability maps and align systems to value streams.
• Foster shared ownership and cross-functional collaboration.

Technology Modernization & Integration
• Drive modernization of legacy systems toward scalable, modular, cloud-based architecture.
• Architect end-to-end solutions (ERP, Claims, TPA, Analytics) to reduce technical debt.
• Champion API, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Collaborate with ERP team and lead architectural due diligence for M&A integration.

AI, Data & Innovation Enablement
• Develop enterprise data architecture supporting advanced analytics and AI/ML.
• Integrate AI capabilities with clear business outcomes and scalability.
• Partner with innovation teams to embed digital tools in business workflows.

Security, Compliance & Risk Management
• Embed security and privacy in architecture standards.
• Partner with InfoSec for risk management and resilience.
• Develop governance to ensure compliance during expansion and M&A activities.

Team Leadership & Governance
• Lead and mentor a global team of domain architects in a matrix environment.
• Establish architecture review boards and governance practices.
• Promote architecture as an enabler of innovation and growth.

Vendor & Partner Engagement
• Engage vendors and integrators to align with enterprise strategy.
• Evaluate and select scalable, secure platforms aligned with business goals.


Qualifications:

• 12+ years in enterprise/solution architecture; 5+ years in global leadership roles in EA.
• Deep experience in modernizing legacy systems with cloud-first, API-driven strategies.
• Strong understanding of integration, infrastructure, application, data, and security architecture.
• Claim adjusting, insurance, or professional services background preferred.
• Proven record in applying AI, automation, and analytics.
